County Road 3 Bridge Replacement

Road Construction Update: CSAH 3
Beginning Friday, May 15, 2026, Olmsted County Public Works will start a bridge replacement and paving project on County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 3.

Project details include:
  • Replacing the bridge over the Middle Fork of the Zumbro River (about 1,000 feet south of 8th Street SW in Pine Island)
  • Resurfacing CSAH 3 from 8th Street SW to CSAH 5

Work is expected to be completed by the end of August 2026, weather permitting. Minnowa Construction is the prime contractor.

Traffic impacts:
  • CSAH 3 will be closed to through trafficA detour will be posted
  • Access will be maintained for residents within the project area
  • Motorists should expect delays and consider alternate routes
