LAWN WORK NOTICE

 

BELOW IS SOME INFORMATION REGARDING WHAT THE CONTRACTOR WILL SOON BE DOING TO HELP GROW GRASS AND CONTROL THE GROWTH OF WEEDS IN YOUR LAWN.

• NEXT WEEK (8/19-8/23) THEY WILL SPRAY THE WEEDS THROUGHOUT THE SITE
• PLEASE DO NOT DISTURB YOUR LAWN FOR 1 WEEK AFTER THIS IS DONE. 
• TWO WEEKS AFTER SPRAYING (9/9-9/13), THEY WILL OVERSEED THE SITE TO FILL IN BARE SPOTS WHERE GRASS HAS NOT GROWN.
• WE RECOMMEND NOT MOWING FOR 1 WEEK AFTER THIS IS DONE AS WELL. 
• THE BEST TIME TO MOW, IF NEEDED, IS THE SECOND WEEK AFTER SPRAYING TAKES PLACE. THIS IS THE WEEK BEFORE OVERSEEDING WILL TAKE PLACE. OTHERWISE, PLEASE AVOID MOWING DURING THIS WORK.

Per Goodhue County the 4% interest rate is applied annually to the remaining balance of the assessment following the previous year's payments. You can contact the Goodhue County Property Tax Department at 651-385-3040 and they can provide you with your full 15 year payment schedule including the principal and interest amounts for each year.

 

The 4^th Street Improvement project will begin on May 1, 2023. The project area includes:

• 4^th Street SW – From Main Street to Kimberly Court
• 1^st Avenue SW – From 4^th Street SW to 5^th Street SW
• 2^nd Avenue SW – From 3^rd Street SW to 5^th Street SW
• 3^rd Avenue SW – From 4^th Street SW to 5^th Street SW
• 4^th Avenue SW – From 4^th Street SW to 5^th Street SW
• Kimberly Court
